“Lia, ada orang nak jumpa”.

Terdengar suara maria meneriak pada ku bila saja aku jejakkan kaki ke
pejabat. Aku terus meluru masuk. Telefon berdering. Suara maria lagi.

“Bilang orang tu tak tahu sabar ke, kan aku baru balik ni. Kalau tak
boleh sabar, boleh pergi blah lah bilang dia.”

Telefon ku hempaskan. Bila saja aku angkat muka, tercegat didepan ku,
lembaga yang pernah aku jumpa.

“Oooooh, someones hot. Are you blushing with anger or is it the heat
outside”.

“ I would be glad sir if you wait outside and wait till my collegue call
upon you to see whoever you intend to see”.

“I am here to see you. Hans Isac, HIC company?”.

Dihulurkan tangannya. Tapi aku tak sambut. Semakin aku pandang dia,
semakin naik darah aku.

“Ahh, I am surprise to see you here. I suppose you are wasting time
traveling here just to see me, I do not mind wasting my time waiting for
you though”.

Dia tersenyum lebar seperti berpuas hati apabila melihat keadaan ku.

“I dun mind to see a sweet lady infront of me blushing off”.

Aku cepat cepat potong perbualannya sebelum dia meleret.

“So how can I help you sir?”

“Call me hans, kan lebih mesra”.

“But I still prefer to be polite when dealing in business. Heres my card”.

Aku hulurkan name card aku.

“Zalia Eliza, what a nice name, just like the person. But I think if
you try to cool off, you look more radiant. Tak rugi I datang untuk
lihat perempuan cantik macam you ni”.

Ishhhh, nak buat lawak pulak dia ni.

“You wanted to see me and here I am or shall I remind you that I’ve told
you, you are going to need me someday. Shall we start?”

Dia tersenyum meleret

“Ahh, certainly.’’,

aku baru teringat yang antara aku dan dia ada persoalan kerja yang perlu
dibereskan.

“Before you end up wasting more time unnecessarily. Time is precious
isnt it?”
aku menyampuk. Dia mengenyit mata. Aku pun membawanya ke bilik mesyuarat.

“Shall I get you a drink sir?”

“Hans!”

“Whatever”.

“Not at the moment. Tengok muka you saja hilang rasa haus I”.

“Then we shall start”.

Aku bentangkan hujah hujah ku dan sedari tadi aku perasan yang aku saja
yang berbual, dia duduk tersandar, kaki atas kaki, dan berpeluk tubuh.
Sesekali, dia tersenyum tapi matanya tak lepas dari memandangku.

“Hello, Are you there?”

“Ooppsss, I’m sorry, I was not paying attention at all. Can you repeat
the important prospects”.

“I’m sorry Mr Isac, time may not be precious to you but it is to
others”. Tersentak dia.

“Janganlah marah marah, even though you nampak cantik bila you marah.
Seumur hidup kalau tengok muka you, biar masa I terbuang pun takpa”.

“I think we should get back at where we are and may I remind you of our
office etiqutte. If theres nothing, to discuss, plese excuse me because
a lot of my time had gone with you around.”

Aku mula kemaskan kertas kertas di atas meja.

“Let me help”.

“I can manage, thank you. Nice meeting you” aku buka pintu dan dengan
sopan menunjukkan arah keluar.

“Its my pleasure meeting you” sambil dihulurkan tangannya. Aku buat tak
nampak.

“Lain kali pakai sarung tanganlah kalau takut nak salam dengan I”.

Dia melemparkan ketawa sinisnya.

Maria cepat cepat mendapatkan ku sejurus tetamu keluar tinggalkan office.

“Lia, siapa tu, handsome seh. Dia nak apa dengan kau?”

Aku membentak.

“Kalau kau suka dia kau pergilah handle dengan dia. Harap rupa aja
handsome, tapi perangai tak serupa muka”.

Aku tinggalkan maria yang terpinga pinga tercegat kat situ.
