It was beautiful.

Chocolate and strawberry hit my nose making my mouth water, and to top it off it was getting stronger.

'Mate, mate, mate' my wolf screamed.

"What's  your fucking problem?' I snap after a couple of minutes.

'It's our mate! follow the sent' she said excitedly and I was just about to, till the bell rang that was.

I have maths now so I make my way to 106, yet another subject I hate.

For fuck sake I hate this I can't even fi.....wait here it is.

I walk into the classroom and every head turn to me as the door slammed.

Fuck...I hate this aswell, being the new kid like all the time.

"Miss Sampson right?" the old man says.

"You'd be correct" I said.

"Oh your one of those hey" he snapped then all of a sudden a growl was heard from the back of the room.

I turn to see a beautiful man sitting at the back with raven black hair and bright blue eye.

I was looking at him in awe.

"Okay since you are not going to introduce yourself we will take questions" the old ox said (A/N ox is a real word we use it where I live) almost straight away males hands went up and I saw my mate tense.

'Hmmm should I piss him off a little?'

'Yes!!' my wolf made making me giggle.

I pointed to a boy with blonde hair who smiled at me.

"Where do you come from?" he said.

why is that the first question all the time.

'bro, a boy asked where I came from' I whine in mind link then I heard a chuckle.

'You baby, say you are from Ireland we do have a Irish accent but you just hide yours' I said then cut the mind link.

"I'm from Ireland" I smiled as everyone's eyes including my mates turn wide and a smirk made it's way to my mates face.

Then another hand went up and said something that throws me off guide.

"Are you taken" my mate sat up straight and by the look on his face he looked like he was about to get up to rip the boys head off, so keeping my eyes on him.

"Yes I am taken" I said, earning a smile from my mate.

"This is boring can I sit down now, god I have a brother who is in this school, I moved here a couple of weeks ago and the rest is none of your business" I snapped and started walking towards the back where my mate sat looking at me.

"Is this seat taken" I asked making everyone look at me.

"No please go right ahead" he smiled earning a gasp from our classmates.

I smiled and grabbed the chair and turned to walk away with the chair in hand, when I was pulled into the chair and right near this Greek god making me gasp as well as the class.

"What the fuck are you looking at?!" he growled and everyone turned around to face the front, his an alpha! oh my fucking god.

I bow my head in respect to him, part of being one of the select-as well as being respected we must respect other- which includes mostly alphas.

"Stop it, your my mate I can think of other ways to make you respect me" he winked making me blush, but I ignored him and faced the front earning a growl from him.

All of a sudden I felt a hand rubbing my core making me hold in a moan.

He then leans into my ear and whispered with a very husky voice may I add "mine. don't you ever ignore me serenity or I'll make this..."

He rubs my core rougher making me close my eyes and bit my lip "will pay".

I took a deep breath and calm myself before looking at him "w-what's your name?" My Irish accent on full swing making him stare at me before smiling.

How the hell does he manage to pull out my accent after I've hidden it for years?!

He shook his head.

"T-that's not far! So you can touch me and not even tell me your name" I growl.

Suddenly I was hit with the sensation of my brother mind linking me.

'What's going on?' He sounded worried.

'Nothing I'm fine brother' I cut the mind link and turned to him.

I grabbed his hand and removed it "mate or not I am not some whore that allows a man to touch me because I'm 'his', I was not raised that way" I turned to the front, whilst he continues to stare at me in wonder.

Out of no where he says "my names Ryder, if I see you with another male I.will.kill.them" he growled in my ear.

I swear this man! It's like an alpha thing that fucks me off dramatically.

Well fuck looks like my days going to be full of adventures.

I had a huge smile on my face as I faced towards the front trying to ignore my mate staring at me.

This moment reminds me of twilight, Edward Cullen you weirdo.

A/N

So this chapter is newly updated, I don't know what my 15 year old self was thinking to be honest.

I have a whole new direction for serenity, I like to build my characters independent and strong.

Whilst showing even the strongest people have a weakness, which yes...is their mates.

Don't worry not much will change but there will be changes and if your one of those that have read this book loads of time, which I know some of you are.

You will notice the changes. For starters, the chapters will get longer, some chapters may even be added some taken away.

But I do promise to make this book even more of your favourite then it was before.

That's a promise. I'll be editing and updating the newer version of BHHE and can only hope you like you.
