Serenity's P.O.V

I ran into the woods and without being able to control the shift that is coming, as I jumped over a bush; a light pink glow consumed my body until my paws hit the floor.

I had now shifted into my beautiful white wolf with bits of blue on her, our eyes were now bright yellow with a pink glow around my wolf form.

I stood still for a minute and once I shook my fur I then looking at every detail of the forest through my new eyes.

The sight is a gift given to me from the gods above, being the part of the select has its perks.

This also means i can see more better then normal wolves can.

Taking me from my thought, my ears perk up and twitch as i hear running water; my tail wages at the thought of the river being near by.

I took off running, I did not stop until i came to the bluest Water I've ever seen.

I slowly walk towards it and once I was close to the water i dropped my head and started drinking.

The water was cold but tasted so good, it made samm my senses tingle. I must have spent a couple of minutes at the lake until a sent hit me.

I knew the sent to well however despite what you think, it was not my brothers sent nor was it my mates.

This sent was different because my ward and by the other smell tracing towards me shes in trouble.

Without a second to pass i took off running, as I ran towards her sent; I used all my senses to find her zoomed into her voice.

She was letting out little cries and whimpers which worried me deeply, however my ears then heard growls which caused my eyes to widen as I sped up my pace.

I was running so fast through the bushes, running through bushes and dodging trees; however I suddenly felt a burning in my side but ignored it.

I needed to get to Mel beside I most likely just caught it on a branch.

When i arrive at place mels sent was strongest, I notice her near a tree coward and shaking.

What made a growl leave my throat though was the two huge wolves stalking towards the scared pup.

I zoomed towards her and stood over her so all they could see was my legs, this sudden entrance of mine and me growling at them made them jump back a little.

Mel looked up at me with a small smile and hugged me leg, relief and love filled my body as I leant down to lick her cheek; licking away the tears.

Now my wolf was an extremely large wolf but she was just a little smaller then an alpha.

I turned my attention back to the wolves in front of me and growled, I tried to ignore the feeling that was drawing me to them; it almost felt like the bond of family.

When one took a step forward I realised a growl of warning as Mel shrunk into my legs and he froze to his spot.

Yeah bite me space boy!

caleb's P.O.V

I was in shock as I looked at the white wolf in front of me.

She looked like one of these wolves I was told about growing up, the pack full of power and wisdom; with gifts that no other wolves can possess.

The tales left me in wonder and awe, I always wondered what happened to these great wolves; yet...no one ever told me what happened to them.

The select, I thought them all dead except 1 but clearly...no that cannot be right, they no longer exist.

'Alpha we have a problem' i mind-linked my alpha and waited.

As I waited for him to link back I watched the she wolf with this pup, the way they acted together was actually really sweet.

'Did you kill the rough or not?' Ryder growled

'No alpha, that's the thing....we was about to when suddenly another wolf came but it's... just come here and see for yourself' i broke mind link suddenly once I had finished talking, which I'm sure I'll pay for later.

I turned back to the she wolf and that's when i noticed the markings as if they was not there before.

Blue, she was covered in strips of neon blue which were very bright, this was so unheard of in wolves that I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but before I could investigate it further, Ryder showed up in wolf form.

But to say he was shocked would be an understatement, one other thing I know...by the way this she-goddess stares at him.

They definitely are not strangers.

Ryder's P.O.V

'Must I always do it all my bloody self' I thought as I ran through the woods.

'Yes because your an arsehole and everyone hates you" My wolf el blurts out.

'No they don't, I'm adored by all'

'And yet I hate the sight of your ugly face as does our mate now. Jackass' he then snapped.

Shit he was right.

'Well obviously'

Before I could reply my mates sent hit my nose, making worry take over both my wolf and I.

No! she can't be out here, alone because it's not safe.

What? It's a mate thing, I may have been a dick but our mate bond is forming okay!

When I finally got to where the boys were, which seem to take forever might I add.

'No you've gotten fat, it's okay okay though it happens to the best of us' that cheeky fur ridden little....

My mates sent all but hit me and after searching for it the sent seemed to be coming from this beauty in front of me.

Well fuck.

Serenity's P.O.V

I should have known they worked for him! who else would be so heartless to kill a little pup.

I tilted my head down to look down at Mel as she whimpered, it made me more mad then before.

I looked back at Ryder and realised a warning growl as he stepped towards us.

We seemed to have a staring contest before he shifted back into his human form.

"Shift" he snapped but I stayed put, how dare he! he does not and will not demand me, I do not answer to him.

"Please shift" he said moving forward.

I was about growl to realise a warning growl until I felt a sharp pain suddenly enter my body and down my side.

I looked down at my left ribs and saw a gash, it wasn't a normal gash because wolves heal almost instantly should they get hurt.

Especially my breed of wolves, therefore this wound much have been caused by wild wolfs-bane.

Well... I'm dead.

I turned my body to the side In order to hide my wound from my mate

Mel must have sensed either the tension or pain I was feeling because she started play biting my leg.

I guess her being such an innocent and playful pup took my mind off all my troubles.

I started playing with her until I heard a growl, it was more demanding this time.

"SHIFT!!" The power of the demand shook through my body and like that, my fur was gone and my skin was on show.

Mel growled and ran into a cave near by before she then ran out with some of my clothes.

I put them on, once I stood up I was about to speak when suddenly everything went blurry.

"Serenity?" I heard Ryder's voice say, I noticed blurry figures move closer but soon enough darkness took over.

As my body swayed and fell to the ground, at least...that's what I thought.
A/N

So all edited and honestly I believe these chapters are so much better.

Again I was 15 when I write this book, I was just riding with the highness of writing a book; completely forgetting the plot, my characters personalities.

Pretty much everything important.

Unlike back then, I now plan everything about my books; down to the plots; the plot twists.

The characters and their personalities, new arrives and old faces returning.

So yeah I believe that's why my recent books have been great.
