"N-now I have to do that. No matter what I need to protect everyone, I'm so sorry" I said as I look at Ryder.

Panic entered Ryder's eyes.

"But I have to do this..." I whip my eyes and look at him.

Ryder's P.O.V

She's going to reject me.

I-i didn't mean to do that, it just happened and I couldn't stop it.

God damnit!

'You hurt my mate' ell my wolf said.

'I-I didn't mean to, what the hell do you mean your mate; she's mine too' I snapped back.

'Well you sure acted like a great mate recently' he snapped sarcastically.

Then Before I could say anything he growled and done something that shocked me

I fall to the floor, screaming.

I felt like I'm on fire, burning all over my body and soul was so hot.

'Did you just...' He cut me off by doing it again.

'If our mate rejects us, I will kill you' he done it again one more time before he let me fall to the ground.

Only, to my surprise I didn't and I looked up to see my mate looking at me in pain and worry.

She was holding me up so I didn't hit the floor.

So perfect.

"What happened?" she whispered to me, soothing me by stroking my hair.

"his angry, I-I didn't mean it, I couldn't control it. B-but he-he showed me what will happen to me if we lose you, please don't reject me" I cried, I saw something in her eyes.

"Ry..." she started but I cut her off, I cupped her face in my hands and made her look at me.

"I love you serenity, I love you so fucking much and I can't lose you. Please don't reject me" I told her, I saw love and surprise flash in her eyes but then something else caught my attention.

I noticed she was fighting to keep her eyes open.

"What did he do?" she whispered referring to what ell did to me earlier.

I have to tell her, I can't lie to her anymore.

"H-he burned my soul" I mumbled but I know for a fact she heard me because she gasped.

She looked at me in shock and disbelief.

"b-but only..." she cut herself off suddenly, I notice her swaying slightly before her eyes closed and her body fell.

I caught her in my arms, I know why she blacked out. It was because I drained her energy.

I generally did not mean to.

I picked her up into my arms, bring her closer to my chest then I walked upstairs to our room and put her into bed.

I kissed her forehead, letting my lips linger there or a moment before I straighten up.

"You don't have to love me back, love. But I really hope you know that I love you; to the moon and back. That will never change" I whispered to her then I forced myself to leave the room and went to my office to do pack work.

However throughout all the damn work, my mind was constantly on my mate and damn did I miss her already.

Serenity's P.O.V

I was running through the woods, running as fast as I can; as fast as my legs could take me.

"Keep running" Ryder's voice shouts making me stop and look at him in panic.

"No, please don't make leave you" I cried.

He rushed up to me and cupped my face with his hands "I love you serenity McCartney and I need you to run. one day, soon I promise I'll find you" he kissed me and it was just like our first time.

I felt warm tears run down my face as I turned to run.

However as quick as I took off, I stopped again.

I turned to look at him again, I have to tell him.

"ry..." he turned to look at me with worry and curiosity.

"I-I love you" with that he smiled and with that I ran.

I got half way near the ends of the woods when I heard my mate scream in pain.

I wanted to help him, I wanted to save him or at least die by his side but Before I could do anything everything went black....

I woke up covered In sweat with tears rolling down my face as I looked around.

I'm In my mates room, I know that because I can smell him everywhere.

However, I can't see him anywhere.

My worry kicks in making me jump out of bed, I quickly took off the clothes I got on because they are wet.

I quickly put on one of Ryder's shirts, meaning I was wearing a long top that dropped on one of the shoulder.

I know if I do kind Ryder he would hate that I left the room like this but I don't care.

I quickly exit the bedroom and follow his scent.

It leads to a door, the door was more nicer then some of the other doors in that how.

Therefore, I can only guess as an office.

His sent, it was so strong that when I got outside the door;  I couldn't handle it anymore and just bursted in.

"Haven't you heard of fucking kno..." he cut himself off when he found out it was me.

I can only imagine what he is thinking right now, my hair was a mess in a sexy way and I only wore that top I put on before coming in here and I was standing in his doorway.

He opened his mouth to say something but I ran up to him and jumped onto he's lap hugging him.

He was shocked at first but he hugged me back.

"Baby are you okay?" He asked worried.

"you're okay?! y-you haven't left, y-you're here, with me SAFE!!!" I stuttered out as I touched his face with my hand gently, then without a word I lean foreword and push my lips onto his.

He kisses back straight away, wrapping his arms around my waist whilst mine went around his neck.

After a moment I pulled away and rested my forehead against his.

"What was that for?" he asked.

"Never leave me" I cried, he pulled back and looked at me.

"where is this coming from angel" he gently touched my face and I lent into his touch surprising me and him.

"They wear chancing us and you told me to leave you, then...then...then" I started crying into his chest as the memory of the dream came back.

He hugged me tight to his chest as if he was never going to let go.

"Shhh, don't rush yourself baby girl. Tell me tomorrow angel when you are ready" he whispered.

I know what I had to ask him, it's what upset me the most in the nightmare...

What hurt is that I wasn't marked when he was.

I need to know I'm his, only his forever and always.

"I know there are other girls and you have a history with them, but I'm here and I do not want to lose you Ryder" I start.

He stares at me in shock "seren..."

"So please, I know they may be good at everything and I'm just me but pick me, choose me, love me" I told him.

"Serenity I-" he pulled me into his chest because he couldn't seem to find the words.

"Mark me!!" I pulled away and looked at his shocked face.

His eyes looked like they were turning bright blue meaning his wolf was happy.

"What?!" He said then watched as I moved my hair out the way for him, revealing the place where he would mark me.

"Mark me ry, please...just mark me as yours, I need to know I'm yours" I stare at him in the eyes so he can see that I really wanted this.

He gently moved my head to the side without any further questions.

He pulled me closer and kissed my neck, as he did that it caused me to  accidentally grinned my hips against him.

This made him realise a groan and his grip tightened around me.

"Baby do that again and I'll have to take you on this table, right here and right now. HARD!"  that is a turn on.

He licked my neck softly and slowly, this without warning he bit my neck.

The venom that entered my body from him made me scream out in pain however it was becoming part of me, he was becoming part of me.

The pain soon left and pleasure took its place.

I found myself moaning and grinding against his now hard d!ck.

I was getting wetter and wetter by the minute, then he realised my neck and licked up the blood to heal the mark.

He looked at me and smiled which caused me to smile back.

"All mine" he growled playfully as he admired his mark that I have yet to see.

"Just like you are mine" then everything started going blurry.

"Ry, everything is blurry" I mumble to him.

"It's because of the mark baby girl" he tells me.

"Go on baby, go to sleep. there will be a little pain tomorrow but I promise I'll be with you" he whispered before he kissed me again as I put my head in the crack of his neck.

"I don't want you to leave me, don't let them take you" I mumbled.

"Who baby who?" he asked worriedly as he rubbed my back.

"The blood targets" was the last words I spoke.

A/N

Okay so new chapter, extra extra long then last time.

So I need your opinion on something, obviously I've edited now so the book is a lot different.

So should I delete all the old comments?

Anyways, I'm ill as hell so thought I'd do some editing; really hoping you like this version.

So opinions on the new serenity and Ryder. Along with other characters within this book.

There may be some more edits coming later. Depends how much work needs doing to it.
