Serenity's P.O.V

After the interesting lessons with my mate, which I found out was in all my lessons.

It was finally break.

I know fucking break!!

I started walking towards the canteen, holding my books tight to my chest when suddenly I flew back.

I can hear someone else hit the floor at the same time as me.

Before I could even get a word out, the other person began to speak.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry I really didn't mean to bump into you you I'm-"

"Sorry? Yeah you said and honestly it's okay"

I looked up to be met with the same eyes I've been seeing mostly all morning, only the eyes were on a different face.

"You look like him" I blurted out.

The boy smiled and tilted his head to the side "like who?"

"Ryder"

Suddenly his smile grew "oh my brother, yeah that's not the first time I have heard that" he said which caused me want to giggle.

After he helped me pick up my books he stood up and offered me his hand.

I smiled softly and took it, instantly being hit with sparks.

See now these sparks were different from the ones you get from your mate, as a member of the select and because we are hidden so well; the only way to notice another one of our breeds are the sparks when you touch.

"Are you-" we both said at the same time.

"No you first-" we once again spoke at the same time.

He both stopped and began laughing.

"I'm Jacob"

"I'm serenity" I smiled and took his hand.

"Your a high warrior then me, ma'am" he stated as he went to kneel down but I grab him to stop him.

"Please don't. I can't have people knowing"

"Oh shit, I'm so sorry"

"It's okay"

"So do you want to walk to the canteen with me, that way you won't crash into anyone else" he said in which I nod.

We began to walk and once we was at the canteen I thought I just entered the jungle.

Each group in the own food chain, each with their own kind.

The populars - the lions.

The geeks - chimpanzees.

The outcasts - the rats.

I'm sure there is more groups but that's apparently the man ones sitting in front of me.

I heard a whistle, making mine and Jacobs head turn towards the noise but what I saw when I looked that way. Took my breath away.

There sat Ryder, looking like the king of Greek gods.

'God his hot as fuck'

Yeah your telling me.

However my eyes travel over to the side to see my bother sitting next to him.

Ryder waved us over and after looking at each other me and Jacob walk over.

Ryder was the first to speak "so I see you met my brother" he nods towards Jacob.

I smile before shooting back "so I see you met my brother as well" I nod towards Micheal.

Ryder looked shocked as he looked at my brother then me "his your brother?"

I walk around the table and wrap my arms around my brothers neck softly "yep"

Jacob sits down and bats the seat next to him, so I sit down, across from Ryder.

There were different amount off people on the table, who surprisingly were all very nice.

"So how is your first day so far?" My brother asked.

"Very interesting" I reply looking at Ryder who was looking at me smiling.

'Ryder is my mate' I mind linked my Brother.

"WHAT?!" He shouts out loud making everyone look at him.

I shot him a look and he clears his throat "Kim Kardashian's fake whatttt" I suddenly said.

I bursted out laughing.

After a couple of minutes Jacob poked my side making me look at him.

'Is Ryder your mate?' I heard in mind link, I would like to say I was surprised that he can't mind link me but our kind can do that.

I just nod my head and he smiled, I giggled when I heard a little 'I knew it!'

"You two look all comfortable, what are you talking about?" He tried to sound casual but I could hear the jealousy in his voice.

"Just stuff" Jacob answered, Ryder narrowed his eyes at Jacob but before I could say something the most hideous voice hit my ears, I swear my ears much be bleeding.

"Your in my seat" a girl said crossing her arms in front of me.

"There is plenty of chairs Kirsty" Jacob said.

"Oh what is the new white arrived not even 3 hours ago and suddenly I lose my place at my mans side" she said.

My brother let out a growl but I looked over.

I can't lie her words hurt but I was not going to let this little mutt effect me.

"Ryder is not even your man! And she's sitting across from him you bimbo not next to him"

Wait! What?

"I like looking at him" she said with a fake smirk.

"Move slag your face is effecting me! Get out of my seat before I make you"

'Oh please pup!'

Jacob looks at Ryder "are you not going to defend her?"

Ryder said nothing then looked at me "why should I?"

Now that hurt.

I stood up and faced this Kirsty who suddenly backed off in fear.

I frowned and when I turned around my brother and Jacob shot up.

"Seren-" mich began but was but off my a shocked Ryder.

"You eyes"

Oh no!

I turned and done the only think I could, I ran.

I ignored all the calls and just carried on running, I felt everything change and my claws grew.

I was hurt.

Feeling betrayed.

So as I ran I didn't stop.

Neither did my heart breaking.

Ryder was a dick and made out with someone in front of serenity.

Jacob made Ryder jealous which resulted in him calling serenity a whore. Which the resulted in serenity beginning to shift so she ran out.

Yeah...fifteen year old me thought it was a brilliant chapter, whereas twenty one year old me now thinks it's a load of shit.

Everything happened so quickly, the chapter was short and no doubt you was all lost.

So yeah. This is the new and improved version and I hope you guys like it.
