Ryder's P.O.V

I looked down at her and felt my heart swell, it was the first time I've ever felt such emotions and that actually scares me.

I heard that once you find your mates you experience stuff you never had before and feel a whole new amount of feelings.

However I didn't believe it, until I laid my eyes on her.

She was like a goddess, my goddess.

Yes, I'm aware I was a jerk and I'm sure I was very much hated but I do have my reasons.

I didn't want to get attached because I couldn't lose someone else I loved.

But that's just it now, I love her; I love her more then anything. Being away from her makes it hard to breath.

It's because of these feelings that I need to be careful but mostly careful if people around her, if people find out the strongest alpha has a sweetness they will try and use it against me.

Use her.

And I can't have that.

"No. Please" I heard a sweet terrified voice, I turn my head to look at my mate. She was moving slightly, sweat was starting to form on her forehead and she was asleep.

I frowned as I pulled her towards me and held her tight.

"I love you princess, come back to me" I whispered into her ear, her breathing slows down.

"I love you" I heard her voice ring out quietly.

I look down again and see her eyes are open, I smile and kiss her lips.

Serenity's P.O.V

"How are you feeling?" He asked me.

"Hot, I feel so hot almost like I can't believe" I mumbled.

He turned his head to look at the ceiling.

Everything was quiet, for a moment anyway.

"I can make it stop" he suddenly said, I sit up and so does he.

"You can?"

"Or at least calm it down a bit, I don't think your ready for me to actually make it stop" he chuckles making me frown.

"What makes you think that?" I ask him.

"Because in order for me to make you heat stop baby is for us to fully mate" he tells me and I feel my cheeks heat up.

"Oh"

"That's what I thought your not ready for that. Your two innocent" he chuckles, I don't know why but I get slightly defensive about that comment.

"What makes you think I'm innocent?" The second those words left my mouth I was pinned to the bed and Ryder was hovering over me.

"Has anyone ever touched you?"

"W-what?"

"Has anyone ever touched you? Ever made you feel good-" his voice was becoming dangerously low as he lowered his face closer to mine "-has anyone ever made you come so hard you forgot your own name"

His words made the heat hit full swing again, my breathing picks up. Why does my mate have to be so sexy?!

"N-no" I mumbled embarrassed.

He smiles before kissing me, he pulled back with his smile still in tacked.

"Good because that would mean I would have to track that arsehole down and kill him for touching what is mine" he growled before taking a deep breath.

His eyes cloud over slightly before he turns his head to look at the door.

"Baby take a deep breath, your heat is attracting unwanted attention and I'm going to have to start killing members of our pack" he growled as I looked down and noticed his nails began to grow.

He was angry at something and was beginning to shift...to protect me?

I cupped his face and made him look back at me, his eyes studied mine.

I heard a notice outside the door and Ryder realised a deep angry growl.

"Make it stop Ryder or at least calm down" I whimpered as shooting pains entered my body.

He looked deep into my eyes "are you sure?"

"I want you in more ways then your willing to give me right now so p-please just make this stop" I whispered to him and looked down.

He tilted my chin back up to look at him.

"I want you in so many ways your innocent little mind would not be able to deal with it baby. Your heat may call others but heat or not your sent calls me on a daily bases and it drives me crazy" he whispered and kissed me again.

"Are you sure?" He mumbled against my lips after a moment of a heated kiss.

"More sure then anything right now" I say, I then watch as he leans back and kneels near my legs.

"What are-"

"Shhhhhh...we have a visitor and I want them to hear who you fucking belong to" he growls as he removes my panties slowly.

Before he pulls me up lightly and takes his top off of me, his eyes skimmed my body and I tried to hide.

I felt so exposed, he grabbed my hands and moved them "don't hide from me princess, you don't ever have to hide from me. Your breath taking" he whispered.

He gently begins to rub me down there, then after a moment he dips his head and begins his assault.

I heard a weird noice, almost like a moan and it took me a moment to realise it was me.

Ryder's tongue continued to go in and out of me before swirling around my small bud then going back.

This continues to happen as my fingers found their way to his hair, I gist his hair as I begin to lift my hips to meet his tongue.

He let out a groaning sound which caused a vibration to shoot through me.

A strange feeling came over me "r-ry" I panicked.

"Let go baby. Cum for me" he demands, for some reasons those words done something to me and a strange feeling shoots through me.

I scream out his name as my body shook, I shook that much that Ryder hand to wrap his arms around my waist to keep me down.

My vision went blurry and my ears buzzed.

'Can I kill him' I thought but when I heard Ryder chuckle in my head I knew that I accidentally linked him.

"Get the fuck out" Ryder growled angrily at him, I gently hugged into his back and he calmed down.

"I didn't realise I was interrupting something" he shrugged.

"That's the thing you don't fucking think! Just like you don't fucking knock"

"Look there is someone here demanding to see...you?" The last bit sounded like a question, and due to the silence that followed something tells me that they are mind linking.

Ryder suddenly tenses before he nods, Jacob smiles at me as I peak out from behind Ryder.

However after a growl from Ryder, Jacob ran out shutting the door behind him.

"Idiot" Ryder moment causing me to smack his arm.

"Don't be mean" I mumbled as I watched him stand up, he gently put the t-shirt over me so I was covered.

"Where are you going?" My voice came out in a whine making him chuckle and kiss me again.

"I have to go and see someone who wants to talk to...me. Please baby don't leave this room without because even though your heat is calmed down, you are still in heat and without me there. I cannot protect you" he tells me.

I nod my head "I promise" I mumbled.

"Get some sleep baby girl. You look tired" he says before kissing more for the hundredth time.

He walked towards the door but before he left he turned to me.

"I love you"

"I love you" then he left.

I smiled as I laid down, the door opened again and Ryder poked his head in.

"Lock the door please" his voice held emotions, I nodded and stood up.

Once he walked out again I locked the door, I went back and laid on the bed.

I really did love him, more then anything.

And that scared me.

A/N

This chapter was once called self control but I wanted to make it more sweet/ intimate between our two favourite characters.

It has been rewritten completely so this is pretty much a brand new chapter.

I really hope you like it and it give you what I'm sure all you crazy lot have been waiting for.

Again you've seen more parts of both of them that you haven't seen yet, your learning more about Ryder unlike last time.

I am trying to finish editing this book as I have more to do but I am taking my time with it.
