i waked up. it was bright. cahaya matahari menyuluh muka aku sebaik sahaja aku cuba duduk on my bed.

"oh, better put this card at moms" aku buka zip beg sekolah dan menarik keluar card semalam.

aku berjengket ke bilik ibu.

i saw mom and dad sleeping on their bed. it was already morning but i guess mereka letih.

i walked to moms makeup table.

i saw plenty of skincare makeups. i chuckled. aku letakkan card itu diantara makeup yang ibu selalu bawa dalam beg. mom surely would see this no matter what.

right?

i ran quietly to my bedroom. aku lompat ke atas katil and continued my nap. i smiled before putting of a pillow on my face.

"adik"

i felt something stinging on my arm.

i saw kakak tengah cubit lengan aku. she stood beside my bed and she looked furious.

"bangun bodoh" she hissed.

i woke up. i didnt say anything.

"tidurlah sampai petang" she joked. i know dia pandai dalam memerli and its stings too inside.

i walked with her to the dining room.

aku lihat ibu dan ayah sitting on their seats eating breakfast. like usual saturday morning would be.

then aku teringat.

"the card" aku berlari ke bilik ibu.

i searched on the makeup table. aku punggah barang barang ibu. i couldnt find anything. the card wasnt there.

"haha" i smiled.

mom read it.

i giggled to myself before walking back to the dining room downstairs.

but.

i saw something familiar.

i saw my card in the dustbin inside the bedroom.

at the time, i have never felt this hurted before.

"ibu, sakitnya." aku clenched my fist.
