aku peluk badan aku. aku duduk bersandar pada dinding.

i heard a sound of an engine.

finally.

"ibu." i smiled cheekily. its 2.54 a.m and ibu baru ambil aku daripada taska.

i grabbed my bag dan quickly said goodbye to the teachers. aku peluk ibu.

"happy mothers day." aku cium lengan ibu. i was too short for a 4 years old kid. so thats the part of ibu that i could reach.

i handed her a card.

it was blue. it has a pop up mom picture in front. i was so happy seeing mom suka this card.

she stared at the card.

"get into the car. it's late" she smiled. she didn't take the card from my hand but i thought the way she smiled was fairly enough.

she drove me home.

it was deadly silent inside the car. mom had some eyebags under her eyes and she could be in a badmood. aku boleh rasakan. so better not to say anything by the time.

"do not say anything to your father" finally she said something. it sounds serious so aku just mengangguk kepala.

aku tunduk.

i see my small feet.

"haha" i laughed seeing how my feet couldnt even reach the carpet. i feel small.

or i am small. and needy.

"mom, boleh tak kita pergi bercuti nanti" i said looking up at her.

she stared into my eyes from the rear mirrors. it was intense.

"no." she said it short.

"okay" aku reply.

"i love you mom"
