Hana membuka halaman buku yang dilihat lama sejak mereka disuruh menunggu di ruang perpustakaan sementara kes kematian Mylia diuruskan oleh pihak sekolah hampir setengah jam lepas

Violet yang berada di sebelahnya sudah lama larut di dalam alam penulisan. Riak wajah gadis berambut pendek itu masih di dalam mood serious.

Suasana di dalam perpustakaan itu sedikit bingit dan sesak, with almost 100 something day class student berkumpul di dalamnya pada suatu masa.

Pen yang dipegangnya diletak di atas buku, dia melihat setiap pelajar yang kesemuanya memakai perbagai jenis outfit berwarna merah.

There so many unfamiliar faces that made her feel a little bit intimidating.

" guys!" Adriane yang baru bergerak kembali dari meja berdekatan mereka membuat riak teruja "group meja sebelah just beritahu aku yang Mylia, well her remain, diorang jumpa dalam keadaan ngeri. Kau tahu kuku dia..they said her nail all rip of, almost macam dia kena torture. Bilik dia, based on gossip penuh percikan darah. Yang peliknya, time benda tu jadi roommate dia ada dalam bilik sekali. She asleep, of course by that time but korang boleh bayang tak, dia ada sekali dalam bilik tu, and she don't even realize Mylia commit suicide. The trauma she must be feeling right now."

Kening Hana terangkat " she dead, Riane. Tak baik kita cakap pasal dia when she no longer here with us"

Adriane faces, looking like she was amused by Hana's word change for a second before it turns back to her goofy one " alah Hana, aku just sampaikan dekat korang gossip latest je. At least you guys know kan what happens."

Violet, yang focus dari tadi menulis mengangkat muka " roommate dia tu, where is she?"

Adriane makes a smile " Headmistress Artemis bring her to the office, that what I heard from the final year student."

Kening Hana sekali lagi terangkat " final year student? Riane, how many people kau tegur hari ni?"

Adriane masih tersenyun riang " well,  dekat sekolah lama aku, people called me a social butterfly, aku even join kelab media and communication dulu."

"Ah...." hanya itu yang mampu di balas oleh Hana.

She really can't cope with Adriane's carefree attitude.

Meja mereka dihempuk sederhana kuat. Kelibat sekumpulan gadis mengelilingi meja tersebut

" hey, korang kan yang Anna tahan dekat koridor tadi?" one of the girls, with blue wavy hair and red polka dot dress " is it true? You guys did something to Mylia?"

She seems to raise her voice, intentionally.

Nada suaranya yang tinggi menarik perhatian para pelajar lain. Focus di ruang perpustakan itu kini tertumpu kearah mereka

Few of them making a nasty smile sambil berbisik sesama mereka.

Muka Violet bertukar garang " what a freaking crap, kitaorang don't even know her full name, how on earth we even have a reason to kill her?"

Gadis itu senyum sinis " oh but we never know kan? People nowadays don't even need a reason to screw up someone"

Violet makes a dire look " oh, people nowdays? How old are you then? 60? No wonder cakap macam orang tua."

Muka gadis itu bertukar tona " kau cakap apa!?"

Violet, still with the same look "why? Rasa sakit? Bila kau talk shit about people, you expect them to feel what actually? Excited?"

Hana yang hanya menjadi pemerhati dari sisi membuat riak kagum

Damn, her roommate a badass!

" Aurora!" Suara panggilan dari aras atas perpustakaan itu kedengaran, wajah Naime kelihatan " behave or i drag you pergi bilik disiplin sekarang!"

Aurora mengangkat lengan and show her middle finger to Naime " shut up kissing ass bitch" sebelum melihat kearah Violet " I remember you too bitch, just you wait."

Tangan gadis itu digerakkan membuat isyarat dari matanya menuju ke arah mata Violet

"Oh, i can't wait then." Riak wajah Violet langsung tidak berubah " to think a third year senior tunjuk minat dekat aku on my first day, wow I must be fucking popular!"

Aurora rolls her eyes, lalu membuat isyarat kepada kumpulannya bergerak pergi dari situ.

"Violet, Violet!" Adriane pantas mengoyang badan Violet " kenapa kau cari gaduh dengan Aurora? She likes, this school queen bee kau tahu! She can end your social life dekat sekolah ni just with one word!"

Violet mengeluh " banding dengan aku, I think it's you yang lagi dasyat. Kau baru masuk sekolah ni sehari, how on hell kau boleh tahu semua gossip pasal tempat ni?"

Adriane stares a while at Violet before she blushing " oh come on!" Dia memeluk erat kedua bahu Hana dan Violet " kita kan trio! Of course, I have to tell you guys everything I know!"

"Oh girl, you just decided by yourself" Violet akhirnya senyum kecil "but someone like you, not bad sangat nak buat kawan, at least you can be this group mood maker"

Hana mengangguk laju.

So her first day of school, she gettin a badass and goffy friend as her group member, both of them look like friendly people, and one of them ready to kick ass anytime while another one can provide her with all this school latest information.

Finally,  luck reaches her side.

Castriel melihat lama pintu masuk mansion tersebut but he still stuck, not moving an inch.

Mahkluk berjubah hitam yang digelar Isolde, penjaga kawasan dorm malam itu masih terbang di luar pagar, looking at them with his faceless face.

"Oh seriously Riel, kau just skip sekolah seminggu, not as you have memory loss or what sampai lupa nak cara nak buka pintu ni"

The girl next to him mendegus lalu meletakkan tapak tangan di permukaan pintu, sebelum permukaan pintu itu bertukar menjadi bara api, mengelilingi tangan gadis tersebut. Second later, bara api itu terpadam dan permukaan pintu kembali normal

Saat Celeste menarik tapak tangan, pintu itu terbuka luas.

Permandangan di belakang pintu itu look like every noble house in the Victorian Era. Dengan tona warna gelap, lampu chandelier, tangga agam dan ruang tamu luas with expensive furniture including fireplace, the decoration of the mansion scream "exclusive and historical " from every angle.

Di bawah ruang tangga, kelibat dua orang wanita, masing-masing memakai pakaian berwarna merah melihat kearah Celeste dan Castriel yang baru masuk.

"Oh?" Celeste membuat muka pelik "Agnes, Ismeria? Aku tak expect korang berdua have the time to welcome us."

Agnes, in her blue ocena irises and ivory yellow skin tone, blue gibson tuck hair with red cardigan and white jeans make a polite smile. " Celeste, Castriel, the night student council greets both of you back."

Celeste menepuk belakang Castriel "yada yada, here aku dah bawah president korang balik. So, can I fucking go now?"

Isemia, brown long straight hair with pale skin, full grey irises, and red gown berdehem " about that.."

Celeste makes a furious face, her black irises deepen "what else?"

" the position, since the issue of Castriel creating havoc killing the zomps dekat cemetery week ago.."

"Let me explain" Agnes memotong ayat Isemia "all the night class student, have to agree on replacing you since they...afraid you will lose control again and create more trouble in the future. Castriel, please know, this is not personal.."

" of course benda ni personal Agnes, who are you trying to kid? and again, all the night class students? Are you sure about that?" Celeste menyampuk

Her voice sounds so twisted.

Riak wajah Agnes berkerut. " all night class student...except the demon races student"

Celeste smiled wider " though so, there no way my beloved demonys peeps will ever listen to your guys."

"Sebab tu.." Isemia kembali membuka mulut " kami perlukan, bantuan awak berdua untuk yakinkan mereka.."

Anak mata hitam Celeste bersilau. Dia mengangkat tangannya sebelum tubuh Isemia ditarik keatas menghempap syiling mansion tersebut.

Gadis itu kelihatan seperti saluran penafasannya tersumbat, making a weird sound while trying to get off from the ceiling.

"Silence, you getting on my nerve since the beginning" suara Celeste frost " idiotic ghost."

Mata biru laut Agnes membesar "Celeste! This is the school, where it's the truce ground between the races, you can't do harm to the others!"

Serentak, Agnes jatuh terduduk di atas lantai, mukanya pucat.Nafasnya ditarik berkali-kali, the same reaction as Isemia.She holding her neck, trying to make the pain gone.

" Seriously, I thought a siren love to drown people down. Why do you acting considerate all of a sudden like those foolish angel? Made me want to kill you here and now." suara Celeste masih dingin " why? Considering that all you got, you sure have guts acting all great and mighty to the demons when you this vulnerable. Just cause you kill one of us, you think we that weak?"

Castriel yang diam dari tadi mengerakan tangan sebelum muka pucat Isemia yang hampir biru jatuh menghempap lantai, begitu juga dengan Agnes, nafasnya kembali normal.

Agnes menarik nafas panjang, trying to stable the breathe while Isemia faces become paler than ever.

"Riel, you no fun. Kenapa kau lepas diorang awal sangat, aku tak puas main lagi." Celeste membantah

Castriel tidak menjawab soalan Celeste " who the new president?"

Agnes yang masih mengiggil melihat wajah Castriel. "Xavier..Xavier Michaelis."

"Oh fuck you" ujar Celeste sebelum lampu chandelier berdekatan mereka  meletup " you pick vamps! Those bastard vamps kill our Aubrey, korang lupa ke"

Not just Celeste, bangunan itu kini bergegar kuat, moving the furniture and other things inside the place.

Celeste pantas melihat ke tepi " Riel"

Pintu rumah agam itu terbuka oleh angin kuat. Kelibat Isolde yang terapung memegang tongkat panjang meluru masuk ke dalam ruang rumah agam itu, melempar tali berwarna kuning kearah Castriel

" Get lost." Ujar Castriel, menolak pergelangan tangannya kebelakang.

Tubuh Isolde berserta tali kuning yang dituju kearah Castriel kini menghentam kearah pintu masuk. Minute, pintu masuk itu terlerai sebelum the door melayang ke arah hutan membawa makhluk berjubah hitam itu.

Suasana di sekeliling bangunan itu kini dikelilingi kabus hitam, making a circle with the electrical current. Angin kuat terhasil, membentuk bulatan puting beliung membuat pokok tinggi berhampiran dorm itu tercabut dan terbang tinggi ke langit.

Termasuk pancaran kilat  dari awan hitam yang berkumpul tepat di atas bangunan sekolah, yang mencacak tanah tanpa henti

"Shit! Riel cool down! Seriously cool down you gonna destroy this school." Riak wajah Celeste tegang " I said cool down Castriel Echethier!!!"

Seri wajah cantik Agnes hilang when water keeps coming out from her mouth and nose, membuat gadis itu mengelupur di lantai seolah dia sedang lemas, manakala Isemia menjerit hysteria saat tubuhnya berasap dan menjadi halimunan saat demi saat

"Haha." A low chuckle can be heard dari atas tangga.

And just like that, the time stop. Tubuh Celeste yang baru hendak menolak Castriel kini kaku. Begitu juga Agnes yang sedang mengelupur lantai dan Isemia yang menjerit nyaring.

Even the building stop shaking and all the natural disasters outside the building terhenti menjadi statik tanpa sebarang pergerakan.

The surrounding becomes mute.

Casriel melihat kearah anak tangga di hadapannya. Kelibat seorang lelaki dengan baju kemeja merah yang tidak dibutang penuh dan seluar hitam turun. He has an amused smile on his handsome face.

"Xavier.."ujar Casriel perlahan

Xavier Michaelis melihat kearah tubuh Agnes yang kaku di atas lantai "hurm, she did look a bit pathetic drowing like that."

" you did this, stoping the time?" Suara Castriel masih senada

"Maybe?" Xavier menjawab acuh tidak acuh " why, wondering why a  vampire can use magic?"

He then looks at Castriel, showing both his irises. " unfortunately, I'm not one of that normal vampire.".

Castriel merenung tepat anak mata Xavier that has a different color. One iris was a dark red when another one was pure black.

The irises belong to two races, Vampire and Demons.

" why do you do this?" Castriel tries to recover from the shock " how did.."

Xavier still smiled, making a sweet one " how I have different irises? Well, if I told you I'm here to made deal with you, would you listen to me. After all, I heard demons love making a deal."

Tiada perubahan di wajah Castriel
" What kind of deal?"

"Oh, trust me, I'm not that noble tu give my soul for the bargain. Matter of fact, I have a more fascinating soul I intend to offer you." Xavier looking at the main door and dengan human tangan, the door gets replaced by a new one.

"Who?"

"Hurm.." Xavier turns his sight to Imeria , mengerakkan jemari before the girl body who half invisble menjadi timbunan pasir.

"I really can't stand ghosts. They should just move on to the afterlife, why even bother to stay here"  his eyes look painful " when some other people just want to die but they can't even do that."

"WHO?" Sekali lagi Castriel menanya.

"The vampire king" Xavier menjawab spontan.

Pandangan mata mereka kini bertentang.

Castriel looks doubtful " your kind?"

Xavier ketawa kecil " my kinds huh?" His eyes look even more painful " to be honest, we have the same objective. You wanna eliminate the vamps, so do me. So why not just corporate"

"Why?" Soalan Castriel masih sepatah

Xavier menyandar badan di sisi tangga " no dramatic reason, I just think those ludicrous lunatic just annoying."

"They still your kinds, kau tak rasa bersalah nak massacre your people?"

"I beg to differ, " Castriel menyilang tangan "I never think I'm as one of them.  After all, it does seem fun, seeing those lunatic faces when they died, be killed by a single demon. I just wanna join the fun because I'm bored. That's all."

Castriel melihat lelaki itu lama.

Wanted to kill your races just because you're bored?

Why did this guy make him remember that heartless father of his, they literally acting the same.
