“what the hell is going on here. Where is my mom. She is the one who you have sent to fetch my mom right? Where's she?” they didn't even look at me. They continued with their little talk.  This involves me yet they keep shutting me out, like I don't fucken exist.

“Erato, wont you tell me what this is all about and what you are doing here with this  weirdo. ” she looked at me pissed by what I had just said. I had just hit a nerve and she wasn't looking happy about it.

“the person you are calling a weirdo is my brother for your information Kara. Being raised like this has made you ..”

Someone badged into the room. Blood all over her top. She was breathing fast.

“you!” I couldn't not keep believe this. Is like high school reunion.  She gave me a glance and closed the door behind. Locking it. She was panting. Her face was emotionless.  She sat on the floor and sighed.

“whose blood is that  Evie? Are you are murder now?” she gave me a deadly look. We haven't been in touch since that day I saw her kissing my boyfriend.  We had cut all ties and now she was there in front of me, covered in blood that I didn't know whose.

“ohh shut up Anita for the gods 'sake.”

“ooh so you are now telling me shut up when I dont fucken understand what is going on.  At least you didn't fucken ignore me like some ass.” they looked at me and the room suddenly went silent.  I regretted my words the moment they came out. Their eyes were boring into my soul and I didn't want the attention anymore. 

“she is dead.” Evie said. It was more of a whisper . The words hung in the air.

“I..  I got there late. ” she continued.  I could see she was struggling to expect the truth.

She sighed and I just looked at her. She could bring herself to look at me and I knew who had died. I didn't want anyone to tell me it was my mom.

“ If only I had gotten there early,  she would not have died, they wouldn't have killed her.” I stumbled back and fall on the thick couch. Her words lingered in my mind. I looked at all of them and their gaze was fixed on the floor.  No one said a word.  How  could this happen.

There was a lump on my throat.it was too much to take in in one day. I wanted to scream but my mouth wouldn't allow me.

“Trust me Anita... I tried to reach there on time ty o save your aunt but I couldn't.  I only managed to save this. The book of portions.  I..”

AUNT the word rang in my mind, driving me crazy.  I dont have an aunt in town and I dont know any. Mom had told me we don't have any relatives. She said they all died of a certain illness. 

“I dont have an aunt. I only have a mother”

I could feel their gaze on me. They were lying. My mom was alive and who ever that was... she might as well..

“ Bella Waters is my mom, so I think you made a mistake somewhere. I am not the person you think I am. I advice you go out there and look for her if she is in that much of trouble. ”

I swallowed hard as tears were forming.  I  could feel myself distancing from them,  from the room.

“she ain't your mother.” I heard that deep rumbling but this time it was more of a creases.  I looked up and I met his eyes. I blinked back the tears.

“what do you mean?”

“Bella Waters is your mother's elder sister Anita. ” Evie said looking at the floor .

No, it can't be. Those words hurt more than anything in the world, more than knowing that my boyfriend was cheating.  My head started hurting. My vision was becoming blurry. My back ached. The room was hot.

Those tears I have been trying ty o hold gashed out.

I tried to sit properly but the pain was unbearable.  I closed my eyes trying to block the pain. My back felt like someone was drawing there. I could feel my temperature raising.

I shifted on the couch  trying not to draw the attention to myself. I could no longer see.

“Anita look at me.”

I could not detect who had called me. I tried looking up but my head was heavy. 

Like someone was holding it down.

“Anita.”

I managed to raise my head but I could not see who it was neither sense where it was coming from.

“How many fingers am I raising.” that voice.  It was him. I swallowed and guessed the number.

“five”

He laughed .“None  Kara.”

The room went silent agian. The pain was getting worse,  each minute meant pain.

I groaned in pain.

“ when did this start Anita?” that was Evie. I couldn't miss that click she does when she is worried about something.

“two days ago.” I breathed in the words.

“Remove your top.” Jade said.

“why?”  and at this point i wished to see his face. To see what exactly he wants to see. He didn't not reply  me.

“Erato, Evie hold her hands.”

I could feel someone peeling my top off me, then my bra. He sighed. The girls let go of my hands as I tried to cover myself with my hands.

“ I didn't expect it to be this soon.” I heard him say

“Evie take a blanket and cover her. We need to get out of here now. Erato is the car ready. ”
