I tossed my body  and I was greeted  by pain

My side hurts. I moved to the other side and I felt cold. I opened my eyes. My jaw dropped as I looked around. Where the hell am I. 

I was in a pool of water, naked. I swayed my enormous eyes around, and I was greeted by status of people surrounding the pool. I was sure the were humans when one of them sneezed.  I retained my gaze back into the water that had flowers everywhere. 

My feet were pale and numb. Everything seems so old, ancient.  I took a quick glance to the statues agian and fear gripped me. What the hell are these people. These guys were standing in this cold yet they didn't move. They just stood there like ... idiots.

I rose from the pool, grabbed one of the kimono that hanged on the statue ... no I mean humans.  I glanced back at them and walked into the building.  I felt pity for them, dont they catch a c

old.

“wow.” I breathed as l looked at the interior design.  It was breath taking.  I had always been interested in history but this ancient thing I was looking at was more than what I could describe.  It seems like history had excluded it. But I felt attached to this place. I....

“Miss arent you..”

I swayed my gaze to the voice.  And there stood a little charming girl. Her head bowed down ,her hands clasped at her tummy. Her outfit was horrible .  I smiled at the little girl.

“ Miss you need to come with me.. this place is meant for the prayers and you might disturb that if you dont move aside.”

I looked where I was standing and I realized where I was. I was in the circle that I had dreamt about. I froze looking at the spot I was standing.  I was..

“Miss please move aside, the prayers are about to start and Lady  Gotha wont take it lightly with you if she found you here and especially in that spot. It's only meant for the Kara.”

She was blabbering and her chattering was annoying me. Until she mentioned the word  Kara. I looked at her and I could feel her torn between living me here and dragging me.

“ please Miss ” she bagged

I followed her directions and stood next to her.

“What's your name?” I asked her and she smiled at me. 

“kenzie ”

“Nice name.” I managed to say.  She looked at me for a minute and I could see confusion hit her. She didn't know me.

“ Sry Miss but who are you?” Her voice was trembling . Why was she saw afraid. She looked at my neck and backed away. Her face was like that of a person who had seen a ghost. He jaw had dropped. 

“Forgive my manners Kara. I didn't know who you were. I... ”

I could feel someone's gaze behind me. The room suddenly felt smaller and suffocating.  I glanced over my shoulder and there he was. My body involuntarily faced him, he wasn't alone. The woman who  I had seen in my dreams was there also. She smiled at me

“ Finally you are home and thank the gods you are safe. I ...” She continued her boring blurring.  I guess she noticed I wasn't listening and stopped.

“Kenzie take her to her room.” She said.

I looked at Jade and noticed that he wasn't there anymore.  Kenzie  led me to my room.

It has been days since I got her, and I was looked in this place. Kenzie didn't allow me to go outside my room. It was now boring.  All I had to do  is eat, sleep and bath every day.

I heard a soft knock at the door. I scrambled to the door. I opened it and a lady that I guess was turning thirty was standing there. She handed me a kimono dress.

“Wear that Kara. You are needed in the royal quarters. Someone will come and fetch you. ”

At least, I would be getting out of this suffocating room.

A few minutes later  kenzie was leading me through a vast of rooms, libraries.  I was tired before we even reached the royal whatever.

“Kara we are here. ”

She stood there opening the door for me. Her face had turned into stone with fear.

“aren't you coming with me?” I wanted someone I at least know in there. Someone I know and trust but call me crazy I trusted her. Her innocence forced me to.

“No kara. I am only a servant, I am not allowed in the royal quarters. ”

It was useless to persuade her when she had already told me her title . I let out a sigh and walked into the room.

I was greeted by silence.  Everyone's eyes were on me. I could feel them breathing in and out. I stood where I thought was a good distance just incase I would want to run away.

“Come closer child. ” I didn't see the face of the person who had said that but it was woman's  voice . She was friendly  that's for sure. I looked at every one in the room. males were dominating the women. The men looked old expect for Jade. He set among them, his eyes narrowed at something I couldn't see

“So this is the Kara?” There was bitterness in his voice. He scared the hell out of me.

“How do we even know she is the one?”  Another voice said and I could see the everyone's  gaze shifting on me to someone else. They waited for that person to say something but nothing came.

“Anita strip”  At last someone usedmy name

I looked at who had said this.  She was sitting there looking at me. Her posture demanding authority .
