I new I was odd. I've always known. It's just the way I am. I am Ash. my mother is a dragon named Gail, but she was captured protecting my egg. Now all I have is a cave in the woods. My father, caru, Lives in the village most of the time, and can't visit me often. I'm fine with that. As I get older he'll stop coming as often. I know the only reason he visits me now Is to help me get food until I learn to get it myself. He wants nothing to do with me. He never expected to become gail's mate. He didn't want them. He tried to sell one of my sister's to a merchant once, and mother was furious.
I go out and turn to my human form to go to the merchant stalls. I've gathered a few gold from working in the horse stables, and today I finally had enough for a new blanket. My old on i'd had since I was a baby, and it was to small, I bought a ton of wool. and a needle, and when I returned to my cave, I transformed the world to yarn. Then I began to sew.

When I had finished I had a large quilt, and some new clothes. I laid my quilt on my small rug my father gave me to sleep on, and put on my new clothes. I then left for my job at the stables. Grooming the horses, feeding them, giving them water. Then I went to the shop section, where customers came and dropped off their horses for grooming. Then I got a few customers done until our daily costumers came in. The king and his guards. I started walking the kings horse to the cleaning area for his normal order, but when I glanced up up I noticed the king looking at me. I stopped and turned around.
"Yes, your Majesty?" I ask.
"I have a different order today. I would like the full treatment for all the horses and a armor polish, new gold horseshoes, and your best saddles."
I stare at him blankly for a second before realizing what he'd said.
"yes, your Majesty, straight away." I take the horses and begin work. it took me half an hour to finish the full treatment per horse, and there were seven horses. When I had finished, my partner, Alexis, was also finished with the rest. We geared up the horses and took them to the king, who was in the bar.
"finished, your Highness."
"yes, perfect. Thank you. I'll be sure to leave a 20 gold tip for you both."
My eyes bugged out. 20 gold! that was more than she had ever had. she continued work, till dusk, then went home with her payment of 5 gold, with a 21 gold tip. another customer must have left a tip. I went to the woods, then went into her hybrid form.
I laid under my new quilt and instantly fell asleep with its warmth.
