Academic reason put the known EO to a situation of "must to indulge" in social life.
It's been too tough,too diamond to know a lass, as life has been too solemn where the EO believed in ,solemnity the king of mind growth, but the present condition is ironical as the past portrayed.
The life commenced in a hilly region of ...full of shanty bushes and scrubs with fierce wild animals such as; lion, leopard jaguar,hyena,elephants, Buffalo and even more just to mention a few. The area too was populated with animals who fulfilled the requirements of Leviticus 11 ,that is, they chew cud and the hooves divide into halves. They served a good purpose for the few humans who settled in the area and complimented with the gatherings (say berries, and other wild fruits). The rivers( ramacha,mogori and nyahururu tributary that primates from a swampy area which later converted to a water reservoir to serve generations) provided serene sites for fishing and quench-arenas for both man and animals at large distributed bushes(Mara) too gave a good view of the area and the providence of shelter to a large number of birds and animals not forgetting the feed dish for them too.
The known EO was brought in a harsh environment, the contributions( venomous snakes, wild animals poverty loneliness being the chief of all)for this harshness taught him to be the person who looks on positivity of life, ie no matter what may life is a boat rowed by one captain.in a family of 9 siblings and a society of 10 families in an area approximated to be 68 square kilometre.
The fangs of love are the most venomous of the known, even can't be compared to mention the known snakes by EO,it is a brew that is incomparable with the local brew or the kebs legality brew. Ridiculously over 18 years of living with a mentality that "lasses are the worst animals on earth" , an encounter of the so believed "animal"breaks the dusk at the unexpected time.
"Hey!" Jackie teased.
"Yeah! How I may help you?" EO asked clumsily
"Ah....nothing , I was just to say hi" Jackie exclaimed
"Saw, okay have a nice time young lady" he said conclusively
This rounded convos left him in a situation of thinking A* might be Z*.
All in all a journey of a thousand miles starts with one step, and it all commenced in style.
24 hours later,
"Mmmmh...hello!" Jackie will commence it in hesitation
"Hello,, how are you?"his tester sentiment
"A...am fine" sobbing
" Auch!what's the matter? Anything wrong? Can I help?" He was touched by her tears
"Am just fine,, my tears do roll when your proximity is minute." She answered waverdly.
"Whoof! What are you trying to say? Am I the one who cause your tears to leave their lachrymatory habitat just go a waste? If so ,, please be off my sight and never , never show up before me!" He puffed her off angrily.

Jackie walked away hands cuddled around her waist ,tears rolling, depressed, ashamed and even intimidated. Human heart was off the man when heard of the proximity cause of crying. He also walked away as if nothing as happened towards the dormitories to do other duties before time for class reaches.
Time elapsed, happenings occurred as usual, and time for academic break knocked on the school doors,students were happy full of nostalgia,, yearning for their homes to see and say hi to their loved ones. This behaviour is much Concord with the bading bye to prison, and can also be seen in soldiers who have been away for a mission, how happy do they feel when the mission is completed successfully and have a good time to see their wives,husbands , kids and even parents. In spite of what she was told not to dare,she composed herself and approached the known EO to bade him bye, all went smoothly and students dashed off the school.

After a month , schools were supposed to reopen for the third term,unfortunately teachers were on strike, only to allow the fourth form to reopen for preparations towards the final National exam. Other forms were off school for a period of one month(September) . Fortunately, teachers came into agreement with TSA and KUPET, the schools resumed the academic marathon as the schedule dictated.
A Monday of breeze, EO woke up early enough to commence the week with vigour, took a bath and dashed off the dormitory for breakfast,, rules weren't tough since the lower forms were not in school, twas upto a student to sacrifice his/her time to prepare for the exams. He took his breakfast from the room he used to study from and embarked on serious business of studying. After a period of approximately 2 hours of study, students of the lower forms were streaming into the school compound just to be caged for the next two months(October & November).

Unexpectedly Jackie's friends swammed into the room the known EO was studying.
"Aaaaaw , Mr EO how are you,we missed you! " chorally
They shook EO's hand, because he wasn't used to hugs, the thing he believed of compromising manhood, furthermore he hated what is the opposite of a man.
"Am fine, just pushing this wheel of education to unknown far end,for the reward not yet seen but to be realized in the near future". He said nervously, he won't dare to compliment of missing them , otherwise he can't miss what he hated.
As they tried to engage the known EO, Jackie bumped into the room, and everything was in amiss to EO.
"Hhmmmm!" He sighed
"What's the matter ally EO?" One of Jackie's friends asked curiously.
"Aaaa... Nothing , tis okay, or you have something to say?" He was restless
As they murmured on what they heard,Jackie hugged them silently and stood motionless before EO.
"Why can't you greet EO young lady?" They asked him furiously
Silence Ruled the room, she was off words,and strength but BMR energy for lachrymatory bowels could disclose the tears.
Her friends vanished one by one as if twas a stricken deal, she fell on EO's thighs sobbing.
He was in a hot soup, questions criss crossed his head,
"What if the teacher finds us here? One on another's thigh, moreover sobbing? What will happen, am I cursed this? How can abnormal happening occur at this time and most probably on me? "
He was troubled in his heart but had no option of doing what he did. After calming Jackie still his mind was dynamically in thoughts, figuring out lyrics of a certain song sung by...

he is a man of the fears mentioned in the song.
"Does she shade crocodile tears?"
The day ended and parted in the ocean for a period not known just to rethink.

Hours sprinted, days jogged, and weeks strolled, to dawn a day when they met in the school library coincidentally. Salutation is the opening phrase of their conversation.
Twas the day before the sabbath, and the this was the day for dedicating the fourth form to our God before sitting for their exams.
Jackie asked him," can we meet tomorrow after the services?"
His inquisitive nature, " For what reason girl?"
Answered prudently, "I have something for you."
That "something" caught his yearning weaknesses off guard and he was not planning to meet with the lady but agreed at last and went away.
The prayer session proceeded uninterrupted till twas a time for parents and guardians to dessert the school compound, they bade the students bye for them to embark into serious studies. As EO was walking along their classrooms block for inspection, he met the lady sitting in class solemnly and moody. He had to go and inquire what was the problem, and all this landed him into trouble and a snare that he didn't escape and left him with a mental injury that has been a serious sudden throwback for decades.
He engaged her in a conversation to unravel the " something" since twas what made him to check on her. They lengthy talk that landed her to give out the gift she had bought for the guy, he was surprised on the same, he has never seen this in his life, twas a miracle.

As Jackie handed in the gift , she broke into tears uncontrollably. EO was again in a situation that confused him much. What he knew was that the lady was dating a certain guy by the name Josphat, though he knew nothing about love he but feared to be found by the lover of the lady while she was crying. Talk of the devil... Josphat was at the window,
" Toto , why are crying ? And why haven't you told me anything that disturbs you?" Jos asked her like somebody in pain.
The lady did not speak and and Jos went on his way.
EO went also his way without saying anything to the lady since he was in the hot soup, he knew at night a fight might break, so he went to prepare enough for the survival.
The man in a crisis was living with the three lower forms in one dormitory and the fourth form on their own dormitory. Immediately after the evening preps, 10 pm, one the form four boys was sent to call EO to the four form dormitory.
