chapter 1

Fantasy Series 3136

The chill air blew threw the trees as some birds flew past Alana as she was siting by Leon wearing her favorite  blue dress and a bracket with different colored jewels all over it as she was looking out the window of the train? looking at the early afternoon sky with her sketch book on her lap filled with pictures of scenery's as well as creature's she's seen while she was traveling.

"Your drawing skills have improved" Leon whispers in her ear. Alana jumps then turns around seeing Leon  tucking his pitch black hair behind his ear. She looks at  his sunglasses that covered his gold eyes.

When they reach the town called Celina they look at each other.  "Alright, I'll see you on the other side, if you have any trouble you know what to do" Leon says. Alana nodes her head. Just as she was about to walk into the town Leon stopped her.

"What's wrong Leon? You seem nervous since we've got on the train" Alana says in a quiet tone making sure no one else herd her.

"You almost forgot this" Leon says pulling out a red cloak.  As he was tying it around her neck she was looking at the dirt road. "There you go, now stay safe" Leon says then gave her a quick kiss. When they separated she walks into town feeling like a rock was in her stomach.

She looks around seeing people walking around occasionally talking to each other. "Just act natural you'll get through this, just do what Leon says and everything will be fine" she thinks as she walks around attracting some attention to herself.

"She's new"

"Where she come from?"

The townspeople stare at her as she walks around including a group of travelers who were eating lunch. William looks at the rest of his gang trying  to think of what to say " She seems to be traveling alone" he says.

"Don't even think about it, she's too good for you" Patrick  says  giving him a small grunt. As William continued staring at her he felt a strange feeling like he should keep looking at her for some reason. "We should at least talk to her" William says. Everyone else sighs then gets up to follow her.

She walks around looking at her surroundings seeing all the different shops. She walks into a bookstore feeling an overwhelming seance of happiness.

"Find anything you like? " a short man wearing a nice suite asks giving her a nice smile.

"I'm just passing through" Alana says feeling a little shy.

"I see well your free to look around" the man says still smiling. Alana thanks him then looks around seeing many interesting books.

As she past the fictional section she saw a book with a little bit of yellowing pages. She opens the book and reads it for a while.

"I'll take this one" she says.

"OK that'll be $3.75" the man says. She pays then walks out. She walks out feeling the feeling of being followed but shruged it off and walks to a hotel not leaving  for the rest of the night.
